What the app stores
Everything below is saved only in the app’s storage on your device. The app doesn’t send it to us or to anyone else.
- Your first name and the name or nickname you enter for your ex
- When you last talked to them, why it ended, and how mean you want Pidge to be
- Check-ins, including mood, urge level, and notes
- Restarts and resisted urges
- Vault entries, including text, tags, and any photos you add
- Drafts, journal entries, and your chats with Pidge
Pidge’s replies are generated by rules inside the app. Your messages to Pidge are not sent to an AI service or a server.
What we collect
Nothing through the app. It has no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking, and it doesn’t sell or share your data.
Apple may give us aggregate App Store statistics, such as download counts, and any crash reports you choose to share with developers. Apple’s own privacy policy covers how Apple handles that.
Permissions
The app asks for one permission, and only if you use the feature: access to choose a photo for your Vault. It copies only the photo you pick into the app’s storage. It doesn’t browse your library.
Backups
Vault photos can be included in your own iCloud or computer backups, depending on your iPhone settings. The rest of the app’s data is left out of backups. Those backups are handled by you and Apple. We can’t access them.
Deleting your data
Go to Settings in the app and tap Erase all data, or delete the app from your phone. Because we hold no copy, we can’t restore anything after that, and we have nothing to delete on our side.
This website
nopenope.app uses no cookies, analytics, or third-party trackers. The “try it” text box on the home page runs in your browser, and what you type isn’t stored or sent. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, to run the site securely.
If you email us, we’ll have your address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and you can ask us to delete it.
Children
Nope Nope isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If the app starts handling data differently, for example by adding subscriptions or an online feature, we’ll update this page and its date before that change ships.
